Who We Are

Angels in Autism LLC provides a full service to families and individuals with behavioral challenges, beginning with identifying and defining disruptive behaviors and their function, Functional Behavior Analysis (FBAs), creating personalized behavior plans, developing in home & community Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) behavior change programs, training in the procedures of ABA and the methodology of Discrete Trial Training/Teaching (DTT), training families and caregivers and working directly with clients in our AB&A LLC Learning Center, community and in the client’s home.

Angels in Autism LLC has joined forces to provide a unique and successful service to our clients, so that they would have the option to use specialty horses as an added venue to address any behavioral needs that we identify.

Here at Angels in Autism LLC, we have combined services with Equine Therapy Arizona, Inc. to provide an intensive equine program for clients to ride and to participate in ‘ground’ work. Each type of interaction with the horses brings about different skills necessary for continued growth and development of individuals, with mood disorders, physical, cognitive and emotional challenges, autism and developmental challenges. We reach out to the community to provide therapy Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and support that many are in need of.   The learning center is nestled in equine facility so everyone has daily exposure to their equine partners.  This facility houses summer programs and after-school programs and individual therapy for children 1 year old to young adults.

One of our services is to develop working relationships with the behavior health agencies, insurance companies, the community and the families so that all clients that are able and capable of using our services. Our outreach includes educational facilities, medical, mental and behavioral health agencies, related service providers (OT, PT, & SLP), naturopaths, counselors, and families.

We understand that each culture brings with it a wide variety of beliefs and practices. Our desire is to work with all of the people that seek and need our services while being respectful of cultural differences, the integrity and quality of the program, the staff, the volunteers and the animals. The interactions with the animals, if they choose, volunteers, staff and the licensed personal will foster independence and self-esteem within each client through the planned and documented activities specifically developed for each individual client.

Our program encourages the families and especially the siblings to participate in the structured activities on horseback or from the ground, or in traditional settings, depending on what is most desirable and appropriate. If our clients require 1 to 1 or group skills development in the home or community or Therapy Center, we will provide and support such services also.

We also provide guidance to families with children or adolescents and adults with autism and other behavioral challenges. We provide a variety of services in the home, in our Therapy Center and in the community. (See the specific services below). Our staff work with mood disorders, setting boundaries and developing personal strength for people working through substance abuse issues, emotional challenges, social skills training, and cognitive and several other challenges affecting the development of a productive member of a community.
